Leesburg Federal Savings Bank was organized and chartered in 1884 by a group of community businessmen and was originally known as Leesburg Building and Loan. The Institution survived the Depression and obtained its Federal Charter and Insurance of Accounts in November, 1936. In the late 1930’s another local Building and Loan was merged into Leesburg Federal. A new facility was erected at 45 East Main Street in Leesburg in the early 1960's and remains the main office of the Bank.
A merger with Fidelity Building and Loan in 1975 allowed Leesburg Federal to enter the Greenfield market which it serves from the office at 134 North Washington Street in Greenfield which was newly erected in early 2004.
Among the many banking services to be offered at Leesburg Federal Savings Bank are:
-Drive-up banking windows and ATM
-Inside teller windows
