About Us

Mission Statement

We provide a forum for our members to exchange ideas and explore ways of better serving our customers in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

History

The Tri-State League of Financial Institutions was formed in 1960 as a result of a merger between Greater Cincinnati Savings and Loan Exchange and the Greater Hamilton County Savings and Loan League.  The League and its predecessors have been in existence since 1968.  In the last few years, membership in the League has expanded to include community banks, savings and loan associations, savings banks and building and loan companies in Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.

Objectives

The objectives of the League are to foster and encourage the financial institutions industry in Southwestern, Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana through dissemination and exchange of ideas and practices gained from mutual discussions and study; to cooperate with other financial institutions in promotion of the industry; to publicize its services and those of its members; and to do any and all things necessary or incident to the accomplishment of these purposes.

Three discussion groups- Audit/Compliance, Lending and Retail Banking/Human Resources all meet on a regular basis to discuss topical issues, exchange "best practices" and network with peers.

Each year Audit/Compliance brings in a speaker from a financial institution to discuss current examination issues.
